Quality Management Policy

Bank of Baghdad, represented by its Board of Directors, executive management, and human resources at all administrative levels, is committed to implementing a quality management system (QMS) and continuously improving its effectiveness in accordance with the standards of the international specification (ISO 9001:2015), as well as international and local standards, and the instructions and guidelines of the Central Bank of Iraq. This commitment is further aligned with the provisions of applicable laws and legislations through the following measures:

  • Adopting the requirements of the international standard (ISO 9001:2015) as a guide for quality work in the bank in order to achieve customer requirements and satisfaction.
  • Understanding the organizational context, internal and external work environment, and the needs of interested parties, and working to implement them.
  • Excellence in providing banking services.
  • Working to provide the necessary infrastructure and work environment for departments to perform their tasks with high quality, and developing this performance through continuous training.
  • Working to achieve the aspirations of our partners in success, including customers, shareholders, suppliers, and employees.
  • Setting quality objectives and reviewing them continuously.
  • Analyzing and assessing risks, and identifying the opportunities resulting from them.
  • Enhancing continuous improvement opportunities.

  The Board of Directors and the Executive Management of Baghdad Bank confirm their commitment to this policy, to maintain it, to disseminate it to all human resources working in the bank and interested parties, and to understand and develop it in line with the updates issued by the criteria of this standard.
